Won't play this DVD - HELP!

HI,

I have a imac 450 DVSE and am running 9.2.1 with Apple DVD player 2.7.

Everything works fine except for this single DVD. My drive is regionfree and it plays every RPC1 and 2 DVD I own, just not "the Enmglish patient" on RPC2. Well, it did once but then I reinstalled the system software and after I was finished I realised that I can't watch that movie anymore.
The CD is mounted and the player starts. Then the controlthingy shows "stopped" in the display. When I click on play it shows "loading" and stays there. No system crash or anything, it just stays loading. I don't know if it's important but the cursot changes to a "no entry" sign (the circle with bar) when I move it over the Menu button.

Any body knows how I can fix this? Any help appreciated.
