DVD- what are .spc files?

im just curious, they seem to be to small for sound or video, so what are they? do i have to decode them? are they even useful?

They are not for sound or video.
I assume they are button placement, and used for the interactive components of a DVD.

As in when you're watching the movie, or the files themselves?

I don't understand your sentense cipher...

My aim is to be able to put the subtitles into a quicktime movie synchronized with the movie of course, but I already asked how to do it here...
