Jog/Shuttle speed control in QT Player

In QT3 holding down the Control key while pressing the forward/reverse frame buttons would change them into a variable speed control.
Is there something like this on QT5?
The fast forward/rewind buttons in QT5 Player seem to be a fixed speed...
