Can't for the life of me work out how to add audio to a quicktime movie . Is it possible in Quicktime pro?

Yes it's very possible in QT pro. Basically open the audio track you want in QT and do an "apple - a" to select all and then copy this to clipboard. Go over the the video you want to add the audio too and past it on, should be easy. You must have QT pro though, won't work in client. Also, Apple's help pages are very informative for this.

good luck

Do the apple-a thing but when you go to your movie window you'll find that pasting it in just puts it after the original clip - not with it. You have to select "add" in the edit menu.

If there's an audio clip already on the track you have to first remove that clip ("delete tracks..." in edit menu then select "audio track") and then select "add".

Hope that doesn't confuse to much.

Thanks for the replies.

I am sure I have tried this but there is no option to add a track when it is a QTVR movie. Will have another look when I get home later though.

Thanks again .

Ohhhhhhh! A Quicktime VR movie. Nah, I don't think you can add audio to a QTVR. I guess apple never thought anyone would want to do that.
