Hey all,
Recently I bought a TiBook and I'm trying to install Final Cut Pro onto it. I'm going about it by installing FCP 1.2 and using the upgrade CD to upgrade to 2.0.
Now, when I'm running my machine strictly in OS 9.1, everything's fine. FCP works like a charm. But when I'm in OS X and I try to open FCP through Classic mode, I get a dialogue box that says:
"Final Cut Pro requires a software key which is either missing or invalid. Please reinstall Final Cut Pro from the original CD."
What? When I installed it in 9.1 I gave it all of the software keys it asked for, and everything worked fine. Is it a conflict with OS X? I'm starting to worry that Final Cut Pro might be like the DVD player in that it will only run from 9.1, not 9.1 through Classic in OS X.
If anyone here can help, I'd appreciate it.
