This may be a silly question but is QT 4 optimized for the G4 processor?

Thanks,

How so? I know a few of the CODECS in QuickTime are optimized, so if you're trying to encode a video it will work faster withan optimized CODEC (usually.) If the QuickTime player itself is optimized, I don't know. I'm not sure what the advantage to optimizing the play would be, as it's the CODEC that does the work. But maybe I don't understand the QuickTime API well enough....
