Proteron doesn't make an MP3 player, so I think this is a fair question for me to ask:
what's the most innovative MP3 player on the Mac?

Depends on what you mean by 'innovative'. Soundjam has many features, and is in my opinion the best player for the mac.

SoundJam wins for me as well - it's the first and only (I think) Mac product that does it all. I have been a registered user since 1.0 and I really like the way SJ keeps getting better and better - and It hasn't cost me one extra cent for all of the updates.
Some people say the sound sucks, but I definately don't agree.
