Hi, I'm considering buying this camera (Panasonic PV-DV100) since it seems like a great price everywhere I look. However, I mainly want it for the purpose of transferring VHS tapes into iMovie, and back to VHS tape.
Does anyone have this camera for this purpose? If so, what do you think of it??
Thanks a bunch

Make sure you think about how you're going to get your video from the VCR to the camcorder. Generally you need an analog input on the camcorder to do this, and I don't think the PV-DV100 has that capability. (I know the PV-DV200 doesn't.)

I have a Canon ZR10 and can recommend it -- and it has analog input.

Anyway, this thread belongs in the Multimedia & DV forum. Transferring...
