Hey everyone,
I have a question for you all.. I have been using Napster on my work PC for quite a while.. At home I have a couple Macs and have been using Macster (and now Napster since it's been released under the "nap" name... This is the problem I've had with my Mac mp3 "stealer"...
I search and find the song I'm looking for... At that point, I double click and I look at the download mgr window and it tells me that it's connecting and connecting and connecting... It eventually times out.. Probably 1 out of every 10 songs I download actually works... When I do find that "one" working connection you better believe I use them for all they've got (especially when I can download fast!) I am on a DSL Network, so I know that the connection is not my problem.. I'm really thinking that the problem is more in the connection between the Mac Napster client and the PC Napster clients that are out there... My PC never really seems to have this problem at all.. Anyone have any ideas on this? Does anyone experience this same problem? Please let me know...
Thanks,
Mike

I've never experienced that problem, from Macster PR3 all the way up through the current Napster 1.0b1.
Always download from the best connection available. And don't even attempt to download from people on a 56k or slower.

On Napster for me, it will work normally, then after a while, it just stops.
All downloads in progress suddenly fail. I can search for songs, and find them, but then I go to download them, nothing... just sits there for ages and eventually fails.
Even after quitting and re opening it doesn't work, and I'm getting sick of it...
Anyone know whats up?
Ever since this BMG business...
