this is a bit f*ed up. i can do reliable playback from my ADS firewire drive. it has an IBM 34G 7200rpm drive in it.... when formated for dos it runs slick in windows2000 but in mac format it hangs and crashes me out on my powerbook. i dont know if the performance would be better on a desktop bow w/ firewire....but this is a but upsetting. i can capture sometimes though. is this a firewire driver issue, or does the ADS mechanism just suck? well, if anyone has info...let me know. thanks
