I found this article about AAC. Is this the same AAC that QT6 will be supporting? If so, it will be really cool. Up to 48 channels and same mp3 quality at less than half the bit rate.

Does anybody else have some more information on AAC?

I'm almost sure that it is the same thing. AAC will be in QuickTime 6, and Apple thinks that it's toing to take over MP3 for digital music. I'm just nervious that they are going to put some spin on it so that they can track the music. I don't think Apple will, but every format now seems to have these things in mind...
