Thanks for all the suggestions, but the point is being missed. Is this a problem with iMovie 2.0.3 or just the way the application exports movies. One person states that he get ever bit the high-quality export that I would get with my PCs MPEG files, but I have not seen any proof. I can export the same video, side-by-side with my PC and Mac, and the PC video (from VideoWave 4) looks GREAT while the iMovie result looks like CRAP (and is almost three times the file size)!

I love iMovie because it is easy to use, but is that it. Are all the people who post these great looking movies doing something I am not? I have read that a few people save the final movie to their DV camera and then import the video into Final Cut Pro. Is that what has to be done...? There MUST be a bug here or something. I have even tried the suggestion of changing the playback quality within QT5 (to check high-quality) and that does not work - no change what so ever.

I am at a complete loss here...
