I've noticed that Toast 5.0 sometimes will need to convert .mp3s to aif before burning, and with others not - this it does on the fly when burning, I guess. Any idea why? ANd what happens to those .aif files when Toast is done? I suspect they're lying around somewhere on my disk still, but can't seem to find them.

They are probably corrupt MPEG-files. They usually works when converting to AIFF. I had to do this manual in Toast 4.x, great to see it doing it automaticly in TiToast.

Try searching for a similar filename to the original MP3. Seems logical.
