This morning, I put in a blank CD into my G4, specified it as an MP3 CD, dragged files on it.

1. It started writing and finished.
2. went into burning and got 75% done when it stopped and gave me an error message.

Any thoughts on how to get this to work?

Do my filenames all have to be eight characters?
Thanks in advance.

What was the error message? Was it a buffer underrun or something? If so try it again and don't use other peripherals (ie.printer). Could have been many things. Probably nothing to do with filnames though. rsvp.

Is it the G4's internal burner, or what?
What OS?

Don't use DiscBurner, if you were. Or iTunes.

Get a real app, like Toast.
