Hey guys

Wish the mess with MPEG4 licensing was sorted so we could finally get QT6

Annnyways, there is a radio broadcast I want to record at 6 tonight being streamed over Real Player (ugh)

Any suggestions on the best way to record the show? other than a microphone to the speakers. Are there any apps that can record the sound from the mac back into an aiff or something?

Any help would be a blast

James

I found an extension called AiffWriter that does the trick. There were several builds of the extension I downloaded, but only one worked on my system (there was an older one from 1997 and a newer one from last June).

You select AiffWriter from the sound managers output area and it will write audio to a file. Not pretty but it works

If anyone wants the extension do a search for it or message me and I can email it over, only afew K.

I use that extension all the time in OS 9.

Do you know if there is one in progress or exists for OS X?
