I'd love to get the Matrox RT Mac or the Promax card ... I also saw that B&H is selling refurbished entry-level Media100le cards for the same cost as the Maxtrox card. Would the Matrox card fit my needs more than the Media100le?

I'm looking to do some light professional video work: weddings and the like. I use a JVC GY-DV500U and FinalCut Pro (although Premiere6 looks VERY VERY interesting).

So, does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks!

PS. My system: B&W G3 350/27GB boot drive, 40GB Maxtor hooked up to a Promax ATA/33 card, 512MB RAM. I've been thinking about getting a G4/450 ZIF upgrade ... I'm assuming it would greatly help with video compression?
