Photoshop / Quicktime Extension Conflict
System Info: G4 500 Duel : Mac 9.0.4 :

I have just got a new G4 500, installed PS V. 4 and 5LE, and have the same problem each time I save ...... that is the screen freezes and mac crashes...... By trial and error found that if I turned QT PowerPlug extension 4.1.2 off, problem did not occur ...... I've uninstalled, re installed from different sources QT 4.1.2, but each time the same problem comes back and revolves around the Power Plug extension......

Any help or suggestions out there!!!!!!! :-)

Have you used PS4 and 5LE on the same machine before? There might be differences between the two that would cause a conflict with quicktime. I'm afraid the advice you get will mostly be to upgrade to PS6. Have you tried posting in the Adobe forums? They have the worst WebX setup I've ever seen, but I've gotten fast answers to strange questions there before.
