OrangeMicroFW not compatible with Sony camcorder

Hi everybody,

I'm using a 400mhz Powerbook with an OrangeMicro FireWire pc card, When I'm using a TRV900 sony camcorder it works fine with Final Cut Pro but When I'm using a VX2000 or a Sony PC110 (which is the cam I own) I'm completely unable to have a good picture on the camera side...the screen of the camera is full of grey blocks.

I'm talking about pal camcorders

I have the same Cam, and a PC5, both work fine with the XLR8 Macfire product, never used an Orange one.
