Audio problem after conversion on OS9

Hello -

Before you say it, I already searched the forums for an answer to this question and couldn't find it. I'm trying to watch an .avi movie on QT - I downloaded the intel codecs, I have WMP 6.3, I have Divx Player.

The problem is I have a picture, but still have choppy audio. I went to divx.com, but it seems that all their software is for OSX. Is there anything out there to fix the audio problem on OS9? The format for the movie I'm trying to watch is DivX, MPEG level 3 audio.
