Is anybody else having trouble with Sorensen 2.1 and OS 9.1? Since upgrading to 9.1, if I use FCP or Media Cleaner and Sorenson 2.1 to compress a video, the top half of the screen is pixelated. Going back to OS 9.04 fixes the problem. What is the conflict, and is there an update? I couldn't find any info on Sorenson's website.

Just a followup... I upgraded to Sorenson 2.2, and it did not fix the problem. Going back to OS 9.04 does fix the problem. Is anybody else having this trouble?

Did you ever figure out what that problem was? I bet it has to do with multiprocessing, because I'm having the same problem with 9.1.

I still have not found a solution. I have to switch back to OS 9.04 whenever I want to render a movie using Sorenson.

I really hope Terran fixes this soon. I switched back to Media Cleaner 4. It works correctly with Sorenson 2.1 and 2.2. It has to be something with multiprocessing in 9.1. I know Apple did a ton of changes in that neighborhood. Plus it's more stable anyway, and actually encodes a little faster. Let me know if you come up with a fix other than this.

You were right. The problem is with multiprocessing in 9.1. I turned off multiprocessing support, and the videos are fine again.
