Ok, I'm not totally hip on the whole educational software thing.

1) Are there any differences between the educational versions and the regular versions?

2) Can the educational versions be upgraded?

3) Can files created in an educational version be modified in a non-educational version of a program?

I know that educational versions are for educational uses only, but these are some questions that have come up.

It is educational pricing not eductional versions. You will get the same software from the educational store that you will from the regular store - just better prices. So the answers to your questions are: no, yes and yes.

From what I understand, and have seen. When you have an education program (such as Photoshop), it starts up with the PS screen that also says "Education Version, for Educational use only." From what I understand, the versions are in no way different, but you can only use the educational for educational purposes.

Let me elaborate a bit further.

I could buy Photoshop 6, educational, and then when the next upgrade comes out, I could buy the normal upgrade and it would upgrade it to the normal version? Or do they sell educational upgrades?

I plan on buying educational software while I am in school, and would want to be able to upgrade it after I am out of school.

Thanks for any and all help.
