Is there an easy way to JOIN a pair of MPEGs together, one after another. You can do it with the quicktime player, but it takes a long time, you ahve to export it, and i'm tlaking about big files. Is there a small app somewhere that can just glue them together?
Try the MovieMerger CMM from http://www.riccisoft.com/cmm/
It lets you select a bunch of movie files in Finder and then has a command to Join them together into one big self contained movie file.
It works okay with MPEG movies, but there is often a considerable stutter or pause between the joined scenes.
Also, from what I can tell it only works with files that have a type of 'Moov', even if they are 'MPG '. So if it doesn't work try changing the file type...
hmm that won't work I'm on X. I'm gooan see if I can't do it in AppleScript, meanwhile, if anyone knows how to do it in REALBasic, post it up here, I have the whole rest of the app made, except the actual merging engine
