Since the introduction of QuickTime 4, there is absolutely no mention of Quickdraw 3D anywhere on Apple's site and it is not part of the installer. It seems it has been Steved. How come nobody mentionned this? With OpenGL still in early beta, Apple has no 3D offering!

If you choose Custom installation, you can install QuickDraw 3D v1.6

If you do a custom install, you can get QuickDraw 3D v.1.6b8 through the installer..

From what I can glean, OpenGL and RAVE are probably going to get a lot closer, although I get this feeling it'll be more of a merge...

I found after installing QT4 Deluxe that I could not restart my Mac without turning all my extensions off ... Then I "turned off" all my QuickDraw extensions (anything the said it was related to QT3) ... and was able to restart with extensions on again ...
