Just picked up a Sony MiniDisc player with the Digital PC Link. I've tried transferring a few CD's to the MiniDiscs and the volume level seems to be at the low end after recording, even when turned up all the way on the MD player. I don't have the volume limiting system on. I was wondering if adjustments need to be made on the Mac or MD side while I'm transferring the music through the PC Link. Do I need to turn the volume down on both, turn them both up, adjust the system (OS 9.0.4) volume, etc? I don't have any other apps running on the Mac side while I'm copying the music.

I was considering a MiniDisc Player with PC Link. I opted instead for an MP3 CD Player. My research, however, indicates that the PC Link sends the music as analog audio. So my only suggestion is to look at the audio output level of your Mac.
