I have a rather elementary question: How does one find their frames per second of the visualizer in iTunes?

Rather elementary answer.

Just hit 't' and then 'f' with the visualizer is running.
The 't' will turn off frame rate capping
The 'f' will display the framrate in the top left.

Now here is the question I have for everyone else.

Does any currently shipping Mac get 30fps or more at fullscreen?

To answer your question, I get a max of 25 fps on my iMac 800 in 'fullscreen' mode.
