In the next month or so we are opening a gallery, and I wanted to connect the store imac to the speaker system in the store. At this point I am not sure how many speakers there will be but probably at least six. I know I will probably need a amp between the mac and the speakers, what I need to know is what do I need to connect the imac to the amp?

i'm thinking you would just need a 1/4" stereo male plug to a stereo RCA male plugs. i'm assuming the in's on your amp will have stereo RCA inputs.
