Maybe I was off base here. Is it possible to extract audio from a DVD. There is a piece of score music from a movie I wanted to have as an mp3. It's on the 5th audio track of the DVD (the isolated score track). Is it possible to record it while playing in OS X or anything like that? Any help is appreciated.

Another simple approach: Plug your DVD player sound out into the sound in port of your computer, and use something like CDSpinDoctor to record. Can use this approach with pretty much anything (LP's, cassettes, Sony disks)
