1 (seeming) bug and 1 request

QT 4.0 when palying these audio files (mp3's, aiff, Sound Designer II)on BW G3 /350 with 8.51 and 8.6b9

If the volume control on the player is way up or close to full, DIGITAL Distortion (Clipping, will ensue)OOOOOOOUCHHHHH!!! My Ears!

This is both with Apple Built in Sound or with my MOTU PCI-324 sound card.

Do not know if this is a bug or not, but this should not happen at all, I almost blew my new Mackie HR-824's monitors with this clipping.

1 Request: the files in the file drawer, Need Names, you have know idea what your playing (except if you look in the menu title).

otherwise MP3's sound Full, awesome!

i agree with the filenames request. all of my mp3's have detailed "tags" on them that i would love to see scrolling somewhere ala macamp.

is there a way to save the contents of a drawer and then recall those contents ala playlist with macamp?

this software is gonna be great as soon as all the features and bugs get worked out! i cant wait to get the non-apple/unstable macamp off of my iMac.

Filenames in the Favorites tray would definately be nice ...

Quicktime 4 does display ID3 tags in the
Info tray when you click the little 'i'
(doesn't look like any scrolling yet)
Quicktime 4 definately does NOT like ID3v2
tags though, doesn't recognize it as
a valied MP3 file.
