can i get a good digital camera for 200$ or so...

i have a 292 wallstreet with a firewire card, and i also had a PC desktop with firewire and usb both......

i dont know much about digital cameras, so i was hopeing someone could help out... i dont mind going to ebay, just need something to look for..... thanks

Umm, No. You can't get a good Digital Camera for $200. You can get a really nice web cam for that much, not a full featured camera. At least not for new. I seriously doubt you can get something (new or old) that works well, is fully featured, and produces good quality for anything less than about $800. Some people would argue differently, but these are my opinions..

I think you'd really have to aim towards eBay to find something that cheap.

How about ubid.com

I got a real nice RCA Digital Video Camera for 300 bucks and it was new, not refurbished.

I was told that for A4-sized prints, anything around 2.1 megapixels would be sufficient. What is your purpose for getting the camera?

My goodness, I'm sorry, I jumped to a very broad, very poor conclusion that you were looking for a video camera/camcorder. I feel kind of foolish, but this is what I work with, I don't think of still camera's very often.

I will be using the camera pretty much for the web, ebay, my website ect.....


i wont be doing any printing, so I don’t need insane quality, but do want good quality for the web... i am also quite proficient at photo shop....
