I was hoping that by the time we got to QT 4 there would be some support for AppleScript in the movie palyer and image viewer applications. All we get is the ability to open a URL

Doesn't this seem lame?

Lack of Applescript support in Quicktime is very lame. It would be nice to have this capability to automate some of the processes I currently have to do manually, and one at a time. Apple, include Applescript support in Quicktime, please!

QT development will never support Applescript until Apple ports Applescript to Windows.

The QT team's mandate is to provide a 100% cross-platform tool. No exceptions.
