I just installed QuickTime 4.0 beta 21 on a Power Mac 7300/200 with a 300 MHz/1Mg G3 Upgrade Card (NewerTech) and System 8.5.1 installed. System crashes after extensions finish loading. I get a bomb with the error
message, "Code Fragment could not be prepared". Would appreciate hearing if other people are experiencing this problem and would like to know of any
work around.

I got the same problem.

"Code Fragment could not be prepared"

(Restart)

The machine crashes at startup when the desktop is building itself.

PowerMac G3 266Mhz Beige 192MB of RAM

I tried deactivating every extension on the set and it appears that Quicktime 4 the principal extension is the problem.

Please anyone has an idea how to work this out?
