QT MIDI file to external keyboard?

Is there a way to get a MIDI file to playback through an external MIDI keyboard (I have a Yamaha P120S digital piano) using the OS X QT Player?

I have the keyboard connected to my Mac via an Edirol UM-1 MIDI-USB interface.

I have some piano MIDI files that would sound 100 times better through my keyboard than through the QT synthesizer. I've tried the "Music" tab in the Quicktime prefs pane, but my keyboard/MIDI interface doesn't show up, even with the UM-1 driver installed.

Any ideas/hints? Thanks in advance!
