With Napster gone, can anyone recommend another file sharing system that has a reasonably good selection of Mp3 songs? One that has a solid Mac client? WHere might I go urrl-wise?
Any help appreciated...

Try Audiogalaxy, they've got good selection, reasonable dl speeds (if your on a high connection, not a modem) and a Mac-client. Just search on Macupdate or Versiontracker for "MacSatellite", then go to www.audiogalaxy.com and register!

Go grab Limewire. It's a client to connect to the Gnutella Network. It's updated often and has a HUGE network of people. It also allows one to share far more than just audio. In my experience it has often provided upwards of 50 Terrabytes of files available.

if you download them, they should already be saved. check in the limewire download folder. look in the limewire prefs if you don't know where your download folder is.

and to the post above, forget about audiogalaxy. it's basically been shut down. sure, it still works for certain artists/songs, but all the good content is gone. but, in it's day, audiogalaxy was great...
