Hi
I just did my first wedding video. It seems that most of the stills, I took out of the video, to use in the sequence worked fine. Untill I sent it back to the DV deck. When viewing it on my dv deck or TV all the stills I used by making freeze frames are jumpy and look terrible. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Slap a deinterlace filter on the freeze clip.

You're probably seeing the inter-field motion on one frame...deinterlace filter will pick just one field out of the two to display.

By the way, if this IS the problem, the reason it didn't show up on the Canvas display is because video playing back in the Canvas only shows one field per frame because of DV decoding limitations onscreen.
