i am using fcp3.0 and i am having problems with the way the song or audio is playing for the song. it plays and stops for a very very short amount of time, u can barely hear it. but it gets really annoying and i am wondering if there is anyway to fix it. thanks.

What format is the audio? That happened to me once when I tried tossing an mp3 strait into FCP. Otherwise maybe try mixing down the audio. Sequence->Mixdown audio

alright, i'll give that a try right now. if it doesnt work i'll tell u my audio settings.

it has mixdown audio already checked off, and the format of the music is .mp3

Convert the .mp3 to an .aiff file.

I've had that problem as well when placing an .mp3 on the timeline. Converting the file to an .aiff solved the problem.
