I want to crop one of my videos to a non-standard size. Does anyone know of a tool that will allow me to do this easily? Can I do it in FCP?

Before anyone replies, know this: I do not want to have any black lines in the final video. ie/ I want the video window to match the size of the cropped video...

Any tips?

for some reason Quicktime calls this feature a Mask. Open your movie in Quicktime Pro and choose Movie -> Get Movie Properties (command-j)
choose the Video track and Mask from the two pop-up menus and select an image file you've made with black where you want your movie to show through and white where you want it cropped off.
blackmail is such an ugly word. I prefer extortion. the X makes it sound cool
