Trouble capturing into FCP from GV-D200 digi8 device

	Hi8 walkman with Firewire. I put a tape in, fired up FCP and I see my material in FCP, hear it only through my headphones hooked up to the GV-D200 sound out but at least I CAN control/shuttle it from FCP. That's the okay part. BUT: it will NOT capture. That is, until I change the Capture preset from Firewire-NTSC to "Non controllable device." That means I have to roll the tape and grab the footage. Odd that it's going through Firewire, is controllable in another capture preset setting but won't capture. Any thoughts or fixes on this? Thanks very much!
