I have major problems with QuickTime on my NT 4/SP4 machine. I cannot play back the StarWars trailer without crashing the player and the performance is really poor. MP3 playback seems to work ok, however quality can be greatly degraded when windows are moved around on the screen - in fact after a while it just pauses. All-in-all performance and responsiveness is extremely poor. Am I the only one? I am running it on a dual processor HP Vectra XU 6/200 which has two 200Mhz Pentium Pros in it. I also noticed that MP3 playback consumes about four times as much CPU power than other MP3 players.
