I just bought an old Powerbook 540c, so I'm looking for a MP3 player that doesn't require a PowerPC, or Quicktime 4. Anything out there?

You can also search for your model at lowendmac.com to see how it can be upgraded to PowerPC.

You can get mp3 players to work in 7.6, but you need a PPC to handle it.

just read deepniner made one (mplay 68k)
not sure, but you could search for it.
