After completing an imovie approximately five minutes long with a running music soundtrack, on export the movie plays back poorly through the TV.
The sound judders during each fade or transition effect and the transitions are very poor in quality.
We were using a G3 500 imac and a Canon XM-1 camera.
Any advice?
PS - The camera was running from battery, would this cause problems??

I don't know if you can do it with iMovie, but I always export to one big file when exporting movies. Otherwise the movie is a bunch of render files stitched togeather that are all over the drive..the drive accesses could cause skips.

Battery power shouldn't affect anything.
