I downloaded freeware called Audacity for recording audio into my imac...I like it's simplicity but I have a few problems and wondered if anyone else who has it might help me out?
Basically it just pops or skips often during recording...the transer isn't perfectly smooth and also I don't quite understand how to set everything up to cut down on noise as much as possible. I'm sending music done on a digital recorder into the imic, but how do I set levels to minimize hiss? Thank you to anyone with advice!
