Okay, so I would like to be able to fade out my MP3s wthout having to splash out on QT Pro. Is there a good piece of freeware or shareware that anyone could recommend?

take a look around on www.versiontracker.com to see if you can find somestuff, there are some apps out there, i just can't think of any off the top of my head.
