I have an iMac DV SE and a 40GB internal. I am working on several projects and need more storage. I heard that there is a firewire case that takes any internal IDE drive and makes it a firewire drive. Does anyone know where I could find this?

Wow, just think of the array we can use on Final C..err iMovie

Thanks.

yes i believe this was mentioned by another forum member that had 'built' a firewire drive... do a search of the forums for keyword firewire, maybe in the Peripherals forum

www.xlr8yormac.com just did a report on building your own firewire drive with a $30 case and an IDE drive. Pretty nice, if you ask me.
