Viewing data code in Final Cut Pro...

I hope this is a simple question. My Sony camcorder records the date and time in the data code on the tape. How do I view this in Final Cut Pro? I can view it with the camera by pressing the "data code" button, but I see no such command in FCP.

Help!!! I just want to see the date and time!
