Hello,

This may have already been posted somehwere(if so, please give me the link and I'll be on my way)but here it is anyways:
I have a Que CD Burner with a Plextor CD-R PX-W8432T mechanism(which is supposedly supported by iTunes according to the Apple webste) and when i downloaded iTunes the other night and installed it, it does not "see" my burner. When I go to the Advanced section of the Preferences tab, the section for CD burner is grayed out and I can't make a selection. I know my iMac(first generation DVSE running 9.0.4) can see the burner because I use Toast on a regular basis and have no problems burning cd's. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers

I believe there is a driver update or something for this - search this forum for it.
In the meantime, you may have to get OS9.1 and iTunes 1.1...

You need to download Mac OS 9.1, Disc Burner update, and itunes 1.1 Disable the usb extensions for your burner for toast in the extensions manager. Then restart and insert a blank disc. You should get the option of formating the disc.
I have a quefire 12/10/32 drive. It works flawlessly with this setup. i have to commend apple on the development of disc burner. You should uninstall toast because it is useless if all goes well. I have and with no regrets.
Good Luck!!!
