Hi,
Can anyone help or explain? Lately as I've imported footage from my Canon ZR-10 to my iMac (PPC G3-400) in iMovie, the sound breaks up (no sound or choppy). If I turn up camera's internal speaker as I import the sound from ZR-10 is fine. Examining the imported footage frame by frame there appears to be dropped frames, which led me to believe it might be firewire cord. Yet I get the problem with some footage and not other. Never had this happen before. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Wayne

Canons have known issues with DV import. All you have to do is change your device control preset to "Apple firewire basic"

Sorry. I just checked it out. imovie doesn't seem to have an option. I just assumed it did(always using FCP). Also, I'm not sure this is the problem. I just know there are issuse. And this is a solution. Did this same setup work for you in the past?
