i just bought one of club mac's 30Gig ext. firewire hard drives and it won't capture 720x480 straight to the disk....i can copy movie files onto it and watch them straight from the disk and i can even work in premiere perfectly but everytime i try to capture through the firewire port (i'm using a Canon Elura) the file has plays like every 100th frame or something and then goes to white for the duration...
This is the second firewire drive i've tried and each manufaturer claims that it should be able to capture streaming DV.
Any advice out there?
