Having followed Edit DVīs turbulent last couple of years, new ownership
and non-fullilled feature updates (mostly audio related), I was sad to read
that Discreet is at present not making any commitments to carbonizing
CineStream for OSX. Anybody know anything different? Workarounds or
privat ports?

Please help! CineStream/EditDV really is the only reason I run OS 9. All else
works fine.
