hello all,

I am planning to use a laptop for all of my audio work but its the classic iBook VS TiBook thang.

Has anyone out there had to make this decision.
I will be using it for live performance, soft synths, and soon "live" by www.ableton.com +Cubase sequencing and recording.

-The money is a moderate factor.
Other factors to consider:

-G4 vs G3
-larger screen (good for editing lots of horizontal audio) on Ti
- No CD-RW on Tibooks ??
-rugged nature of ibook
- "quieter" ibook (less fan on and off)?? [I will be recording]
- longer battery times for G3?
-dual display in Tibook (for future)

I will be using a US428 USB audio interface.

HELP!!!

-Keith
