hi all. i just installed a 45Gig drive in my iMac especially for use with iMovie. I followed Misha's visual install guide (thanks Misha!) and partitioned a 30Gig chunk for video and the rest for systerm folder, apps and mp3s. My problem is that I can't figure out how to make iMovie use the 30gig partition for video, it always wants to use the 10Gig partition which my sys folder resides on. I've tried installing iMovie on the large partition and still no dice. help!

Just choose to save your movie on the 30 gig partition when you start imovie and you will see that you have 29+ gigs left.
